OUTDOORS & TOURS

Are animals permitted?  Well-behaved animals are welcome at Free State Cellars. Animals are allowed in the lawn areas only (does not include patio) and must be securely leashed with adult supervision at all times.  For the comfort of all guests, please be prepared to pick up after your pet.  Only designated service dogs, in accordance with the ADA policy, are allowed in areas other than the lawn.  We are not responsible for any acts associated with animals on property and all liabilities will be at the cost of the animal’s owner.

Do you allow smoking?  We allow smoking and the use of tobacco and vapor products in designated areas.

Can I pick and purchase your grapes?  Not at this time. Please understand that every grape we produce is essential to our wine production and success.

Do you offer tours?  Free State Experiences tours will be offered in the future.  However, we do allow respectful visitors to stroll in our vineyard.  Due to the safety of our guests and our crops we forbid tampering, picking or handling our vines.  Ask team members for area limitations as we have water features and and active apiary where guests are not allowed.  Guests will be escorted from restricted areas.  Please continue to check our website www.freestatecellars.com for updates.

Topography of Free State Cellars Vineyard & Winery is uneven.  The indoor/outdoor tasting room, seating pavilion, courtyard and vineyard are all in close proximity, but entail walking on uneven grassy and graveled areas.  We are accessibility compliant and are happy to help and accommodate in anyway we can.

WILDLIFE ADVISORY:  We are an active farm and coexist with the wildlife.  Wild animals, bees, ants and various insects may be present in the vineyard.  We ask that you stay aware of your surroundings and remove yourself from any hazardous encounter.  We are located on Adams Bayou and ask that you stay away from all water areas.  We do not permit swimming or fishing on our property at any time.  We also ask that our celebrating guests refrain from bringing balloons or decorations due to the safety of our wildlife.
