No. Outside food, drinks, and containers are strictly prohibited. This includes birthday cakes, cookies, snacks, drink containers, and bottled water. If specialty foods are desired, please call for pricing and options. We ask that all requests be made five days in advance. Customizations may be available for a fee. 409-221-7232

We offer a variety of small-batch, handcrafted wines ranging from muscadine, fruit, old and new world crisp whites and bold reds. Please refer to our full wine list for available seasonal offerings and pricing. 

We have a variety of deli sandwiches, charcuterie, dips and assorted sweets that complement our wines. These can be purchased in our tasting room. At this time we do not serve hot entrees or meals. 

Yes. Water and a variety of sodas are available for purchase. We do not offer any other alcoholic beverages. Outside food, drinks, and containers are strictly prohibited. Outside alcohol on premises will not be tolerated and violators will be asked to leave without exception. 

We offer a limited catering menu of customized sandwich trays, charcuterie trays, grazing tables, cakes and gallons of sangria for your events! These items can be delivered or picked up from our facility. Please call us for custom quotes to tailor the perfect fit for your event! Sales tax is not included in prices.

We offer all catering food items to visiting guests with a 5 day notice. Please message us at [email protected] or call for further questions or for inquiries on specialty foods for your event. 409-221-7232. 

Yes. We offer Sangria to-go in FAT QUARTERS, HALF GALLONS, AND GALLONS. Orders can be placed ahead by calling or emailing. To-go items can also be ordered upon arrival if product is available. Please check our site or call for flavor availability as they change regularly.

PLEASE NOTE: Only sangria by the glass is offered to guests staying on property. These gallon portions are available TO-GO ONLY.

Reserved seating is an exclusive perk of Green’s Bluff wine club members. For all other guests, our seating is first come, first serve; indoor seating in The Sunday House is limited to 6 per table. Our outside patios can accommodate larger groups.

Yes! The Smuggler’s Union is a quarterly subscription club where you only pay for your wine selections (with a great discount) and lots of perks! JOIN HERE

Yes! We offer self-guided tastings in the form of wine flights available until 5 pm. We have two flights; custom wine flights with your selection of 6 wines and seasonal sangria flights.

We also offer private tastings for large groups Monday-Wednesdays. Call ahead for reservations and pricing. For more information please contact us at 409-221-7232.

Last call for alcohol will be given 15 minutes prior to closing. The tasting room will sharply cease serving guests at closing time.

ALL FACILITIES ARE 21+. Underage consumption will not be tolerated and violators will be asked to leave the premises immediately. We’ve curated this experience with our adult guests in mind, focusing on a relaxed and elevated atmosphere. Children are not allowed in the vineyard as the grapevines are delicate, there are water hazards, and of course wildlife is present at our bayou setting. 

Yes, we do have gift certificates and gift cards!  You can purchase a virtual card online or buy a physical card from our tasting room during hours of operation. PURCHASE A GIFT CARD

Yes! However all professional photography and video footage (including wedding, commercial, portrait and aerial) on the property are prohibited without prior permission. To discuss your project, please contact us at [email protected] or 409-221-7232 for more information and the written release form. Fees apply.

There are parking lots in the front of The Sunday House and the west side of The Cellars. If both lots are full, an attendant or police officer will help direct vehicles during guest arrival. We do not condone parking in undesignated areas and claim no legal responsibility. The owner of the vehicle will be fully responsible for any and all ticket/towing fees that may apply. 

We welcome you to dress comfortably and feel at home here.

Welcome: Smart casual and above — think sundresses, linen shirts, neat jeans, blouses, loafers, sandals, and resort wear. We love when guests dress to enjoy the occasion.

Not Permitted: Swimwear, beachwear, or wet clothing · Athletic wear, gym shorts, or workout attire · Torn, soiled, or excessively revealing clothing · Offensive graphics or language

Footwear: Closed-toe shoes are required on vineyard grounds. Sandals are welcome in all other areas of the property.

We reserve the right to respectfully decline entry to guests not meeting our dress standards. Thank you for helping us maintain the atmosphere that makes Free State Cellars special.

Yes! Every wedding at Free State Cellars is as unique as the couple we celebrate. We’ll work with you to craft an experience that reflects your style, whether it’s a cozy gathering with close friends or a grand celebration with everyone you love. UPCOMING EVENTS

Well-behaved animals are welcome at Free State Cellars. Animals are allowed in the lawn and patio areas only and must be securely leashed with adult supervision at all times. For the comfort of all guests, please be prepared to pick up after your pet.  Only designated service dogs with proper legal documentation, are allowed in areas other than the lawn. We are not responsible for any acts associated with animals on property and all liabilities are the animal’s owner responsibility.

We allow smoking and the use of tobacco and vapor products in outside areas only and beyond 50′ of entrances. 

No. Every grape is essential to our wine production. 

We allow respectful visitors to experience a self-guided stroll in our vineyard. For the safety of our guests and crops tampering, picking grapes or handling vines is prohibited.  Ask team members for area limitations as we have water features and an active apiary where guests are not allowed. Guests will be escorted from restricted areas. Please continue to check our website for updates.
