Grüner Veltliner

Light body, bright acidity, very perfumed, with distinctive notes of spice and white pepper.  Grüner Veltliner is a spicy, more exotic version of Sauvignon Blanc offering light bright citrus notes of lemon, lime and grapefruit, mellowed by juicy nectarine and sweet baked apple.  Secondary notes of tarragon and ginger spice up the profile of this beautiful white.

This wine's bright acidity and appealing spicy quality pair it very well with all types of food. The most eye-popping match is how well it goes with Asian food—anything from Vietnamese to Thai to spicy Chinese flavors.  Grüners also go very well with bitter greens, salads and seafood.
