We are Texas A&M Agrilife and We're Reaching Every Texan
Join us for a day of connections in the beautiful vineyard and winery of Free State Cellars, one of our local farms, and see what the Orange County Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service can offer you! We'll have teachers from the Texas A&M AgriLife Units as well as Texas Master Naturalists: Sabine-Neches Chapter and Orange County Master Gardeners.
Texas is Agriculture.
Did you know Orange County produces tens of MILLIONS of dollars in commercial agricultural crops including cattle, hay, crawfish, blueberries, lumber, citrus trees, grapes, and wine along with small acreage hobby farms, local honey producers, and exotic farms?
AgriLife is where agriculture meets sustainable living by CONNECTING what grows out here to what arrives right there.
As the largest comprehensive agriculture program nationally, Texas A&M AgriLife brings together a college and four state agencies focused on agriculture and life sciences within The Texas A&M University System. With a presence in every county across the state, Texas A&M AgriLife is uniquely positioned to improve lives, environments and the texas economoy through education, research, extension and service.
A unique education agency, the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service teaches Texans wherever they live, extending research-based knowledge to benefit their families and communities. They provide training, publications, apps and programs to bring Orange County the latest research in agriculture, natural resources and life sciences.
